Why we started
A check-up reads you once a year. A watch reads part of you all day. Most of what shapes a body happens in between, as sleep, stress, food and movement add up week after week.
To see that, you need the same measurement, taken the same way, every week. Most health numbers don't work like that. The room, the time of day and the instrument change from one reading to the next, so it's hard to tell a real change from noise.
What we are building
Soma Axon is a closed pod you step into once a week. Cameras read your pulse and breathing and photograph your skin, while thermal, EEG, ECG, body composition and grip take the rest, all in a few minutes. The light is the same at every visit, so when a number moves, it's because something changed in you.
Between visits, the Soma app keeps reading from your phone and your watch. Pods will stand in our own studio and in longevity clinics, gyms, workplaces and pharmacies, all on one account.
How we work
Your data stays yours. We don't sell it or use it for ads, and if you ask us to delete it, we will. Every number comes with its margin of error, and anything we didn't measure stays blank. Soma doesn't diagnose. It's built for wellness, and if something keeps looking off, we'll point you to a clinician. The six promises spell it all out.
Who we are
Soma is made by Soma Labs Inc., in Palo Alto, California. The first prototype of Soma Axon is being built now. Our only website is somalabs.me, and we aren't connected to other companies that go by Soma Labs.
