Open Health Sync, private beta by invitation

The same API, hosted for you.

Get a key, load demo data and read your first FHIR Observation in minutes. We run the open source server, its Postgres, raw store and workers.

  • Free during the beta
  • Same API as self-hosted
  • No Postgres to run
What are you building? (optional)
Sources you need (optional)

We use this to invite you to the beta and to email you about it, nothing else. Please leave out health data. Ask us to remove it at any time. Our Privacy Policy says how long we keep it.

What the beta gives you today.

A developer portal on top of the open source server, so the path from sign-in to a real response is one sitting.

  • A key in a minute

Create a project and get its API key, shown once. During the beta: three projects per account, five keys per project.

  • Data on the first call

One click adds a synthetic user with 30 days from six sources, so your first request already returns sleep, heart rate and steps.

  • A checklist that ticks itself

First key, first call, first user, first data, first webhook. Each step comes with the command to copy.

  • Every output

REST with an OpenAPI file, FHIR R4, Open mHealth, CSV and Parquet, signed webhooks and the read-only MCP server.

  • A quickstart with your values

curl, TypeScript and Python, already filled in with your instance's address.

  • Example apps

iOS, Android and React Native apps, Python scripts and an AI agent over MCP, all from the open source repository.

Before you join.

  • Test data only, for now

Real user data opens once our data processing terms and the providers' production approvals are in place. Until then, use demo and synthetic users.

  • By invitation

We invite developers in small groups, so each one gets a setup that works and a direct line to us. The invitation is a link that creates your account.

  • Nothing to migrate

The hosted service runs the open source server. Code written for it moves to your own instance with a new base URL and key, and back.

  • Self-hosting stays first class

The server stays free under the AGPL-3.0. The hosted beta is an option, not a replacement.

Rather run it yourself?

One Go binary plus Postgres, on your laptop, a Raspberry Pi or any cloud. The quickstart takes about five minutes.
