Soma Flight Support

Last Revised: November 2, 2026

Need a hand with Soma Flight? The answers below cover what people ask most. If yours isn’t here, write to support@somalabs.me and we’ll get back to you, usually within two working days.

Spotted wrong flight information, like a gate or a time that doesn’t match the airport? Open the flight, tap Report a Data Issue, and the app writes the email for you with the flight’s details.

Signing In

Soma Flight needs an account so your flights and alerts reach every device you sign in on. You can sign in with Apple or with a link we email you. Use the same method on your iPhone and your Mac to see the same flights.

The email link didn’t arrive? Check your spam folder, then ask for a new one. Each link works once and only for a short time.

Adding a Flight

Tap the search bar and type what you know, in any order: a flight number (AF 84), an airline, two cities or airports, a date and a time of day. “Paris New York Dec 12 evening” works. Pick the flight and tap Add.

A flight more than two days away shows in My Flights as Planned and starts tracking on its own two days before it leaves. To add flights you’ve already taken, open Passport and choose Import Flights.

To remove a flight, slide its row to the left and tap the trash button.

Alerts and Live Activities

Tap the bell at the top of a flight to get alerts for gate changes, delays, cancellations and boarding. Nothing arriving? Check Settings, Notifications, Soma Flight on your iPhone, and make sure Focus isn’t holding the alerts back.

On iPhone, a followed flight can show on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island as a Live Activity. You can turn these off in Settings, Soma Flight, Live Activities.

Exporting and Deleting

To keep a copy of your flight history, open Settings, Your Data, and choose Export History as JSON or as CSV. The file is built on your device and handed to the share sheet.

To delete your account, open Settings, Account, Delete Account, and confirm. This removes your account and its sign-in straight away. Our Soma Flight Privacy Policy explains what we keep, for how long, and how to ask us to erase it.

Where Flight Information Comes From

Times, gates and positions come from airline and airport data providers. They’re usually right, but airlines can change things at the last minute: always check the airport screens and your airline before you travel.
