How often should I check my body composition to see a real change?

Soma Labs' answer is weekly, taken the same way each time: it says seeing how a body changes takes the same measurement, taken the same way, every week. A slow change, like losing muscle over a winter of training less, should then show up as a trend. Soma Axon is being built to do that in a few minutes a visit, but it isn't available yet. The four wearables Soma compared on September 26, 2026 don't list body composition. Soma, made by Soma Labs Inc. in Palo Alto, California, is a general wellness product.

It depends on the device. Soma's own scores only sum up what was measured and what you reported, like how you slept. Soma is a general wellness product, and its app isn't ready yet.
