Soma couldn't read Health

A failed read leaves dashes instead of guessing. Pull down to try again, then check access.

If Today says Could not read Health, Soma asked Apple Health and the read failed. It leaves dashes rather than showing a guess, so a broken read never looks like a real zero.

Try this

  1. Pull down on Today to read again.
  2. Open the Health app once, then come back to Soma.
  3. Check that Soma can still read Health: Health app > your picture > Apps > Soma.
  4. Restart the iPhone if it keeps failing.

A loading state that says Reading Apple Health is normal for a few seconds after you open the app. If it never finishes, treat it like a failed read.

If it still fails, write to us with the message on the card and your Soma version (at the bottom of Settings).
