Connect a glucose sensor

Glucose reaches Soma through Apple Health, and shows in Longevity > Body under Blood glucose.

Dexcom G7

1. In the Dexcom G7 app, open the Connections tab.
2. Tap Apple Health, then Activate.
3. Turn on Blood Glucose and tap Allow.

Stelo

In the Stelo app, go to Settings, then Connections, and follow the prompts for Apple Health.

Good to know

• Dexcom and Stelo send glucose to Health with a 3-hour delay. That's set by Dexcom, so Soma's glucose is always a few hours behind.
• Abbott doesn't describe an Apple Health link for its US FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre apps. If you use one, Soma can't read your glucose for now.
• Levels reads glucose from Health but doesn't write it, so connect your sensor's own app.
• Set your blood sugar unit (mg/dL or mmol/L) in Soma's Settings > Language and units.

Glucose readings in Soma are for wellness. They don't replace your diabetes care.
