Connect MyFitnessPal and food apps
Share meals and nutrients with Apple Health so Soma's Nutrition card fills in.
Meals you log in a food app reach Soma through Apple Health. They fill the Nutrition card on Today.
MyFitnessPal
- In MyFitnessPal, open More (or your profile), then Settings.
- Tap Sharing & Privacy, then HealthKit Sharing.
- Turn on the categories and tap Allow.
MyFitnessPal shares your meals (energy and most nutrients) and your weight. Past meals aren't sent, only what you log from now on. Caffeine isn't shared, so log coffee in Soma's Track if you'd like it counted.
Other food apps
Most food apps have an Apple Health switch in their settings. Turn on Dietary Energy, Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat at least.
Or log it in Soma
Track's Meal tile saves a meal's energy, protein, carbs and fat to Apple Health too. See Log your day in Track. If you use both, you may count a meal twice.
