How Soma connects to your devices
Soma reads your devices through Apple Health. Turn on each device's sync to Health once and you're set.
Soma doesn't pair with devices one by one. It reads Apple Health, and most rings, watches, scales, sleep pads and glucose sensors can write to Apple Health from their own app.
The two steps
- In the device's app, turn on its Apple Health sync and allow what it writes. Each brand's article below shows where.
- In Apple Health, make sure Soma can read those categories: Health > your picture > Apps > Soma.
From then on, whatever the device writes to Health reaches Soma.

Direct connections

Two devices, one reading
If two devices write the same thing, like a watch and a ring both tracking sleep, see Doubled or mismatched readings.
