Log your day in Track

Drinks, meals, fasting, mood, weight, sauna, cold plunge and tags, in a tap or two.

Track is where you tell Soma what your devices can't see. It opens on Journal, with a week strip at the top and today's entries below.

The tiles

The tiles log something in a tap or two:

  • Drink: water, coffee or tea.
  • Meal, Fast and Supplement. While a fast runs, its tile reads Fasting.
  • Mood and Weight.
  • Breathe, Sauna and Cold plunge, each with a minutes dial.
  • Evening and Woke, to mark the end and the start of your day.
  • Blood test and Height. Blood test opens your blood panel in Longevity.

Seven tiles show at first. Tap More for the rest and Less to fold them away. You can also press and hold the orb on Today to add something.

Saving to Apple Health

The first time you save each kind of entry, Soma asks to write it to Apple Health. If you allow it, these go to Health too: weight, height and waist, water and caffeine, a meal's energy, protein, carbs and fat, mindful minutes from Breathe and your mood. Fasts, supplements, sauna and cold plunge stay in Soma, since Health has no place for them.

Tags

Each day carries tags. Coffee after 14:00, Alcohol, Late meal, Hard training, Sauna, Screens in bed, Meditation and Travel are on to start with. Nap and Supplements are there to turn on, and you can add your own in Customize (Add a tag). Copy tags from the day before saves time on routine days.

Tags are what Trends uses. Over 60 days, the What your tags do card shows how each tag lines up with your deep sleep, your HRV or your overnight heart rate.
