Morning and evening check-ins

A few quick questions twice a day that help Soma read your numbers better.

Some things only you know: how rested you feel, whether you had a drink last night. Soma asks, a question at a time.

When it asks

  • Morning, between 5 am and noon: how you woke up out of 10, how rested you feel, and whether you had alcohol, screens in bed or a late meal.
  • Evening, from 6 pm to midnight: how your day went, the energy you have left, your stress, coffee after 14:00, aches or soreness, hard training, meditation, sauna and focus.

A check-in asks five questions at most. It skips a question when you've already tagged the answer, or when that tag is turned off.

The check-in opens by itself the first time you open Soma in each window (not on the very first day), or from the morning and evening reminders if you turn them on.

Questions from your data

Sometimes Soma asks about something it noticed: a night 30 minutes shorter than usual ("Feeling it?"), one an hour longer ("Catching up?") or a resting heart rate a few beats above your usual ("Coming down with something?").

Answering

One question per card. Tap an answer to move on or Skip to pass. Later brings the check-in back two hours later, with a notification. You're done when you see Done for today.

To set the reminder times, see Reminders and notifications.
