Is there a Soma pod in Palo Alto?

Not yet. Soma Labs Inc. is based in Palo Alto, California, but no pod has opened anywhere: the first prototype of Soma Axon is still being built. Soma hasn't said where the first pod will open, and people on the waitlist will be the first to hear.

From About and FAQ.

Will Soma open in New York or other big cities?

Soma hasn't named any cities. It says pods will stand in its own studio and in longevity clinics, gyms, workplaces and pharmacies. The waitlist will be first to hear where the first pod opens. Soma offers its services only in the United States, and the first prototype is still being built.

From FAQ, Terms of Use and About.

Does every Soma pod have an attendant?

Soma doesn't say that every pod will. It describes the optional fingertip blood test at pods with an attendant, and it notes that a pharmacy with an attendant on site can offer it. Hosting venues get staff training from Soma to run the pod and help a member through a visit. The pod itself is still being built. Soma is a general wellness product.

From FAQ, For organizations and About.

Why will Soma pods be in pharmacies?

Soma pictures a pharmacy visit as a few minutes in the pod on the way to the counter. With an attendant on site, the pod can also offer the optional finger-prick blood test. Pharmacies join Soma's own studio, longevity clinics, gyms and workplaces on its list of planned venues. None has a pod yet. Soma is a general wellness product.

Can other kinds of venues host Soma Axon?

Soma's list of planned venues is its own studio, longevity clinics, gyms, workplaces and pharmacies. Its organizations page invites places to tell Soma about themselves, including their location, how many people come through and what they'd want from a pod, and Soma writes back by email. It's choosing the first hosts now.

From FAQ and For organizations.

Can I see Soma Axon in person anywhere?

Not yet. Soma said on September 23, 2026 that there's no pod yet and that the pictures of Axon on its blog are concept renders. The about page also shows a concept render of the inside. The first prototype is being built, and the waitlist will hear first where the first pod opens.

Will Soma's own studio be the first place to open?

Soma hasn't said. Its own studio is on the list of planned locations with longevity clinics, gyms, workplaces and pharmacies. People on the waitlist will be the first to hear where the first pod opens, and Soma is still choosing its first host sites while it builds the prototype.

From FAQ, For organizations and About.

What would a venue need to share to host a wellness pod?

For Soma Axon, Soma asks a venue to tell it about the place: where it's located, how many people come through and what the venue would want from a pod. Soma then visits to see the space and talk through how a pod would fit the day. The drawing on Soma's home page marks the pod at 1.3 m wide and 2.3 m tall. Soma is choosing its first hosts now.

Who installs a wellness pod when a business hosts one?

For Soma Axon, Soma does. Its hosting steps end with Soma installing the pod and training the venue's staff to run it and help a member through a visit, after which members step in, change in a private room and leave with one calm number. Soma is still choosing its first host sites, and the first prototype is being built.

What's a way for a gym to keep members coming in every week?

Soma's plan for gyms and studios is a pod members use for a few minutes before or after a session, so they see what their training changes in their body week after week. A member who comes every week makes 52 visits a year. The gym sees how often the pod is used and never anyone's results. Soma is a general wellness product, and the pod is still being built.

From For organizations, FAQ and About.

What office amenity could people use every week in a few minutes?

For workplaces, Soma describes Soma Axon as a benefit people use every week, with visits of a few minutes in the pod. The employer pays for it and never sees anyone's results, and each member keeps their own account at every pod. Soma is a general wellness product. It's choosing the first places to host a pod while the prototype is built.

From For organizations, Know thyself, FAQ and About.

How can a business get on the list to host a new wellness pod?

For Soma Axon, you'd write to Soma through the form on its organizations page and tell it about your place. Soma reads every note and writes back by email, and it's choosing the first places to host a pod now. The form doesn't add you to the waitlist, so launch news comes separately through the newsletter page.

How does hosting Soma Axon compare with offering a 3D body scanner at a gym?

Soma's guide says 3D body scanners are already in gyms, take under a minute and read body shape and measurements, posture and estimated fat and lean mass, at a price each gym sets. Soma Axon would give members a few minutes before or after a session, reading body composition, balance and strength among other things, while the gym sees only usage. The pod isn't available yet, and Soma is a general wellness product.

Is a whole-body MRI easier to get than Soma Axon right now?

The same guide listed Soma Axon as a weekly pod still being built. There's no Soma pod to book yet, only a waitlist. Soma is a general wellness product.

How would a weekly pod fit next to a longevity clinic's deeper workups?

Soma describes Soma Axon as a weekly read between the deeper workups a clinic already runs, which gives clients a reason to come back every week. The clinic sees how often the pod is used, never anyone's results. Soma isn't medical care, and it doesn't replace a doctor or a check-up. The first pods aren't in place yet.

From For organizations, FAQ and Compare.
